It Just Gets Better and Better
Wednesday, Day Three
Wednesday was our free day, which meant that everyone could decide for themselves how to spend the day in Tuscany. They could paint nearby, do some shopping in San Quirico, use the spa and pool or arrange transportation to visit some of the other towns in the area. A few did walk into San Quirico to explore. One took the local bus to Siena. A couple rented a car service and went to Florence. Another couple arranged for a car to Perugia. Leaving the big van at the hotel, Ann and I headed south in our car to scout a location we had chosen for the class to visit the next day, Civita di Bagnoregio, in the Province of Viterbo, nearly two hours south.
