Autumn Bouquet Step by Step
Autumn Bouquet 9 x 12” Oil
An abundant and beautiful bouquet arrived in the studio last fall and presented itself as a wonderful challenge to try to paint. The challenge included painting so many different subtle shades of white and what seemed to be infinite petals in a crowded, raucous face-forward arrangement. Here is a step-by-step outline of how I proceeded. This particular arrangement was used in a three-day live virtual workshop with students as well.
