Our lives revolve around those beautiful things, places and moments which inspire us and the effort to explore and reveal that inspiration to ourselves and others. It is a funny occupation in some ways—being a visual artist—and it often defies the hard Logic of the Marketplace and even our own personal financial needs. What purpose, we often wonder, does beauty serve in human affairs? Why does it exist and is it even necessary? After decades of pursuing this subject, we believe that the world needs artists to help reveal the true nature of beauty—to help pull away the veils of illusion or delusion which can cloud our lives. It is easy today to become completely absorbed by and preoccupied with making our way in the world and that requires putting most of our attention elsewhere.
