We traveled to spend New Year’s Eve with family and friends in one of our favorite places to paint - Charleston, South Carolina. Charleston is a thriving art town and one of the most beautiful little cities in the country. But instead of painting, music was the main reason for this particular trip. A special concert had been arranged to celebrate the holiday with a Motown/Soul band called Platinum Express. The experience of hanging around before and after the event with these seasoned professional musicians was both a pleasure and an education.
