John Pototschnik (Poe-toe-sh-nick) has traveled the artist’s road as an illustrator and designer, speaker, juror and fine artist. The skills he refined in his early design and illustration career have provided a solid foundation upon which he has built his reputation as an accomplished landscape painter.
He did not come to art from early exposure to it or a family background of artists. In fact, he considered business or accounting as his possible career choices when beginning college. He tells this story of a moment that changed his pathway and directed him toward a creative life.
