Anyone can imagine things not yet real, but it has always required a person with special abilities to turn those insubstantial electrical impulses in our brains into something substantial which can be understood by everyone else. When you think about it, our culture and technology exist because of drawings and renderings of those tools we use, the houses we live in, the clothes we wear, the cars we drive - everything not naturally present in our world. Without the ability to make a representation of an idea, the idea cannot be made real and tangible for anyone else. Without that initial drawing, nothing can be manufactured or sold.
