Stuck in our studios with a white deep-freeze outside, we thought it would be fun to search for paintings of winter to provide some inspiration in these darkest days of the year. It is so interesting to see how other artists around the world past and present have created beauty and life in their winter paintings. Perhaps it is just the way artists naturally cope—reflexively finding the beautiful in whatever environment they find around them.
